Jack and the Beanstalk
This £2 million production stars an immense animatronic giant. It’s a visual feast of awesome effects, spectacular costumes, amazing choreography and fantastic sound. And the actors are experienced panto stars, known for making us laugh. This is the London Palladium’s 2022-23 pantomime classic, and this year it’s all about Jack and the Beanstalk. Kids love the story of young Jack, the magic beans he swaps the family cow for, and his adventures climbing the beanstalk. Like all the best children’s stories it’s packed with fun, magic and adventure, and parents will also love the experience.
Who’s starring in the show? Popular panto stars Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers, Gary Wilmot, and Dawn French are at the heart of the story, with the rest of the cast to be announced. The Director is Michael Harrison. The creative team includes Design by Mark Walters and Costumes by Hugh Durran. The Choreography comes from Karen Bruce, the Lighting is by Ben Cracknell, and the sound comes from Gareth Owen. Roll it all together and you get a Christmas panto designed to delight children, create beautiful memories, and inspire a lifetime’s love of the theatre.

Colourful and witty final performance We have become seasoned panto attendees. Julian was brilliant as ever and Alexander Burke as good this year as Donny Osmond was last. Simon's jokes were repeats of last year, very noticably in places (a bit disappointing). Very enjoyable and we will be booking again soon for Panto 23. Dawn French was a good addition but Julian is funnier!!

Simply, one of the best. Continuous laughter and mesmerising costumes and lighting. Be prepared for some loud bangs, particularly if you have kids with you.

Stunning in every eay This Panto is suitable for adults due to the innuendo. It is lavish in terms of set and costumes and the ensemble were outstanding. I could watch again and again.

Superb family experience My husband and I took our two sons (6 and 9) to the Friday night panto and it was electric! What a show! Spectacular in every sense and gripping for the adults and children!
This will become an annual family event. Sat in Royal Circle which curves around meaning everyone there has a great view.

Entertaining and Joyful From start to finish we were entertained by professionals who were obviously enjoying themselves as much as the audience. The entire production was a hilarious, colourful spectacular. We all go together to the panto every year but this is our first time at the Palladium and we are Already talking about coming back next year - it can’t come around soon enough???

Carry on up the Beanstalk The show is brilliant , never a dull moment. Fantastic costumes , stage effects and lighting . Script packed with laughter for all ages . Go and see it if you can still get a seat

Don't miss this hilarious show! Dawn French is amazing, Julian Clary is a delight- all of the actors are incredible in their roles. The costumes and the sets are breathtaking. The show is the perfect mix of Vegas Spectacular, Vaudeville and Sketch Comedy - I'd see it again and again!
