Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group follows three bald, blue-faced characters who never speak as they explore the world through music, comedy and play. Using original music and instruments built for the show, they work through a series of percussion pieces and comic scenes, frequently inviting members of the audience to take part. With no dialogue, the show can be followed by anyone, and each performance is slightly different. This World Tour production at the London Palladium combines new material with classic routines and the return of the "Rockstar", a blue-haired multi-instrumentalist.

Created in New York in 1987 by Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton, Blue Man Group opened at the Astor Place Theatre in 1991 and went on to win an Obie Award and a Drama Desk Award. The Blue Men themselves are not billed by name, and the company has been part of Cirque du Soleil since 2017. Driven by rhythm and visual humour, it is a show for anyone aged four and over that needs no translation.
